"Draw the line". I'm sure this line is very much familiar.Often times this is used by some Women Advocates.I wonder what this particular saying means to you as a person, and as a woman. Come to think of it, doesn't this short but substantial slogan somehow wakes your alertness and consciousness? I would say this simple but meaningful phrase is important to every relationship you can think of. It maybe a husband -wife, an employer - employee, even a mother - child relationships, to name a few. The only connection that I can think of that doesn't need this is our relationship w/ OUR Creator.
Drawing a line, enables us to be conscious of our defects and limitations, so to be aware if we are being exploited by others already. It helps us also to avoid experiencing of being battered either physically or emotionally, and also it protects us from any form of harassment. This also teach us to demand for a compromise agreement,so to avoid being abuse. Though this slogan is quite short it comprises a broad meaning thus awakes us with our rights and capability as individuals and much more as the higher form of creature among other God's Creation.
We should be mature and clever enough when to draw the line, every time we notice that something is no longer fair and just. Remember that in a non- health relationship there's always a victim and a culprit, and the worst is if there's masochism involve, so never allow this to happen to us and to our loved ones. Somehow I believe in the saying that there are no opportunists, unless you allow yourself to be exploited or abuse by others and it is only possible when you do not cherish and respect your person.
